The passing of Queen Elizabeth II....

... has brought out differing points of view. Some about her popularity and others critical.

I come from a family of royal watchers, hungrily digesting BBC programs, Netflix’s “The Crown,” and all those Lucy Worsley programs on PBS. Now we enter the reign of King Charles III- long known for promoting causes that were once on the fringe- environmentalism and organic farming, walkable communities and city planning, lower energy consumption. All very much in vogue now, so we’ll wait and report what happens next.

In our Maine News roundup, we get an inside look at campaigning and fundraising of the LePage candidacy, lobsters on the red list, how dragonflies are a bell weather for pollution, and answering your questions about Omicron variant boosters.

Read on, we’ll be here.
