Who Are You Bringing with You on June 13?

Dear Friend,

Quick question—have you thought about who you’re bringing with you to Huntsman Cancer Foundation SportsFest? One of the best parts of SportsFest is that it’s even more fun together. Teams aren’t just for quest. Whether you’re walking, running, riding, or questing, forming a team is an easy way to stay motivated, build momentum, and make the day even more memorable. And bonus: you don’t even have to do the same activity to be on the same team. Grab your phone right now and text your last five contacts, inviting them to join you at SportsFest!

If you’re the kind of person who likes to rally the group (or you accidentally became “the planner”), being a team captain is simpler than it sounds. We’ve put together a Team Captain’s Guide with tips, ideas, and tools to help you lead without stress and still have a great time.

No matter how you participate, we are excited to have you at SportsFest this year and can’t wait to cheer you on at the finish line.

RIDE

UTAH TRIPLE CRANK: We are thrilled to be the first ride event of the legendary Utah Triple Crank sponsored by Stadler! This prestigious three-event award recognizes those who successfully complete Huntsman Cancer Foundation SportsFest’s 140-mile distance, the Iron Lung ride, and LoToJa as an individual in the same year. That’s almost 450 miles that support the mission of Huntsman Cancer Institute! Are you up for the challenge? For more information about Utah Triple Crank and to sign up for the challenge, please visit the Utah Triple Crank website.

SALEM SHUTTLE: Riding from the Salem start line? Our Salem Shuttle Service is back, generously sponsored by Daiichi-Sankyo, to make your event morning easier and stress-free. The cost is $30 for participants who raise $250 or more, and $80 for non-fundraisers. The Salem Shuttle includes Friday night bike transport to Salem, Saturday morning rider shuttle from Salt Lake City to Salem, and a comfortable motorcoach with a restroom and charging ports. There are only 55 spots available, so reserve yours early!

Fundraising is easier and more fun with a team. Try setting a shared team goal and celebrating small wins along the way. Even quick check-ins like a group text that says, “We’re $50 closer to our goal!” can keep everyone motivated, connected, and excited about the impact you’re making together.
