We are two and a half weeks away from the event! Next week, we will send out full event details, including parking and check-in information. Stay tuned for that additional information!

Huntsman Cancer Institute is expanding into Utah County. We’ve announced plans for a new comprehensive cancer center. This second headquarters will be located in Vineyard, a growing city embedded in Utah’s tech hub. This facility will expand new possibilities for cancer research, prevention, and treatments. There is much to look forward to at the Huntsman SportsFest!

Event Dedication: It’s a tradition for participants to add chalk messages at the starting line of our courses. We all know someone who is going through or has gone through cancer. We’ll have chalk there for you to write their name or an inspiring message. This is a special Huntsman SportsFest tradition that allows us to dedicate our miles to those we love.

Amazing Volunteers: Hundreds of volunteers will help make your event day the best day yet!

Course Support: There will be water and a support station on all routes and distances. Support vehicles will also rove the course to keep you on the road for all cycling distances.

Finish Line Festival Kids’ Zone: Whether your kids ran the Kids K, participated in the SportsQuest scavenger hunt, or if they’ll be waiting for you to complete your running or cycling distance, your kiddos can stay entertained in the kids’ zone.

MasterControl Munchies: We’ll have snacks and drinks at the Finish Line Festival after you complete your events.

Need to adjust your distance? No problem. Send an email to [email protected] and let us know what distance you’d like to move. We’ll email you back when the change is complete.

If you want to change your distance, the deadline is Wednesday, June 5, at 11:59 pm. This is incredibly important if you are a cyclist who signed up to start in Salem and plans to change to an out-and-back route starting at the University of Utah, or vice versa. Please email [email protected] to let us know so we can ensure your packet is correct and ready.

RIDE PRICE INCREASE APPROACHING: If you have friends, family and teammates joining you for the Huntsman SportsFest, let them know the registration fee goes up after May 29!

If you’re participating in the SportsQuest scavenger hunt, you’ll receive an email near the end of this week with full details to prepare for the mission launch on June 8. If you haven’t already, download the Goosechase app. Search ‘Goosechase’ on the App Store or Google Play.

If you are participating as a virtual participant, your packet will be mailed on Monday, June 3, and will include your bib number, event shirt, and jersey or fundraising incentives if they were earned.
