Another Chance at Health and Happiness

Huntington was rescued by a local municipal shelter after being abandoned when his family moved. Clearly neglected for quite some time, he had a mouth full of broken teeth and old injuries that healed incorrectly. Knowing ARF was his best bet for recovery, the shelter reached out for help to get him the care he needed. ⠀
During Huntington's surgery at ARF’s clinic to extract some teeth, x-rays were taken of an old injury. Although the improperly-healed injuries didn't seem to bother Huntington (and additional surgery was deemed unnecessary), ARF’s veterinarians found BB bullets still lodged in his shoulder — a clear sign of the rough life Huntington had lived. But thanks to ARF's talented veterinary team and his loving foster family, Huntington was able to bounce back and start his new life out on the right paw.
