This week... 

... we are thinking about the aftermath of so many shootings in the U.S. Maine Public’s Robbie Feinberg spoke with Bates criminologist Michael Rocque about firearms in the state as we try to learn more about the gun landscape here.

Susan Sharon had an interesting look at some Memorial Day activity including an event in New Gloucester that included confederate re-enactors.

Of course, this is also the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, reflections from poet Amanda Gorman on a tough week in the U.S., and an indigenous tribe in Australia that few people know, plus architect Maya Lin helps to tell the story of Asian Americans.
