Moon Rocket Rumble!

Did you stay up to watch the Artemis I rocket earlier this week? I’ve been to the 2 a.m. launches at the Kennedy Space Center. You have to arrive super early to get in position, and then they lockdown the base at a certain point. Certainly a recurring reporter nightmare not being able to make to the launch because they closed it before you got there. Thankfully that never happened, but you can read up on all the launch latest further down our note this week.

On the closer to home front  another seafood organization is pinging Maine’s lobster industry over sustainability concerns, a rare earth’s mineral find was announced near Presque Isle, and the rank choice voting system confirmed Jared Golden as Maine's 2nd Congressional District winner.

In other news, those killer hornets on the west coast… they’re also a problem in Spain. Plus, the USDA wants to know more about native foods in the Northeast and Michelle Obama has some marriage advice to consider.

We’ll be taking a break next week for the Thanksgiving holiday, but you can give now to show you love The Ten at mainepublic.org.

Have a great weekend and Thanksgiving!
