... Washington County is the focus of our “Climate Driven” series. This means we’ve made it to eight of Maine’s counties and will continue our trek to finish in Cumberland County in time for Earth Day 2023.

The mix of stories is good for Washington County. Come with us on a foliage leaf peeping trip, read on to understand how carbon offsets are protecting Maine forests, and learn why the promise of tidal power might not be quite what investors had hoped.
