We did a thing…

... A big one for us this week. Maine Public’s Gubernatorial debate on Tuesday highlighted stark differences in the candidates running to hold the Blaine House. You can and should check it out here, if you haven’t already or need to double check any candidate positions.

We have more resources for you to learn about Maine’s voting process on our Your Vote page so keep an eye out there.

In our roundup of stories this week we have a sprinkling of politics, lobsters and politics, and Chinese demand for lobsters.

But wait there’s more! We also look at what inclusionary zoning means for communities, how one Florida community was built to withstand storms like hurricane Ian, and tracking the growing protest movement in Iran.

In our “Climate Driven” series we are headed next to Washington County, keep an eye out for those stories later this month.

Keep reading, enjoy the fall!
