This week, we have an update on a story that aired last week about two Ukranian brothers that a Maine couple has been trying to adopt. Check that story out here. 

We also look at some of the cultural elements surrounding the war, what the “Z” symbol means in the conflict, and how to talk to your children about what’s going on in Ukraine.

A highlight of my week was reading about the discovery of Sir Ernest Shackleton’s ship Endurance in Weddell Sea. It’s incredibly preserved and exciting to learn that this piece of history has survived more than 100 years under the icy Antarctic waters. There’s a great documentary, narrated by Liam Neeson (fellow Irishman to Shackleton) called, “The Endurance,” and then there was the Kenneth Branagh miniseries back on A&E in 2002! As evidenced by this photo hanging in my office, I'm a big fan. 

Finally, we wrap out with vacuum-sealed moon samples being opened and what’s happening to the B&M Baked Beans plant in Portland.
