All Minor Participants Under 18 Per University of Utah compliance, all minors, in any event (1K Stroll, Kids Fun K, 5K, 10K Trail, SportsQuest, or any cycling distance), 2–18 years old, must sign their own waivers. Those waivers can be printed, signed by the minor and guardian, and brought to packet pickup to save time. Printed waivers will also be available at packet pickup. Waivers are linked below. Family Packet Pickup If you signed up as a family through the family registration option, each participant will need to submit a signed waiver, no matter their age. Family members can pick up packets for kids under 18, but they still need to submit waivers signed by both the minor and their guardian. We encourage everyone to come to packet pickup on Friday to avoid a rushed Saturday morning with potentially long check-in lines. Picking Up for Someone Else? You will need to have a photo of their driver’s license (cell phone photo works), a note authorizing you to pick up their packet if they are not immediate family, and their printed and signed waivers. See below for waiver requirements for each event. RUN, WALK, AND SPORTSQUEST WAIVERS: CYCLING WAIVERS - MINORS: Per University of Utah compliance, all minors 2–18 years old must sign their own waivers. Adults who are cycling in the event and registered online do not need to sign any waivers on-site.
