Friend,
Animals are being tortured in research labs across the country every day — and they need your help. Your support now will be matched up to $50,000 through August 12 to help combat cruel animal testing and save lives. Will you please make a much-needed gift to help protect vulnerable animals?
Toxins are injected into the stomachs of beagles, and puppies are forced to swallow toxic chemicals with their mouths taped shut. Caustic chemicals are dripped into rabbits’ eyes and smeared on their shaved skin. Pigs’ bodies are burned and cut again and again, while primates’ skulls are cut open to implant electrodes in their brains — the list of horrors goes on.
Even if the animals survive the experiments, as soon as they are too sick or torn apart, they’re killed — sometimes by snapping their necks or decapitating them. Friend, please help us combat cruel and senseless animal testing with the strongest contribution you can give today, to be matched up to $50,000. |

All this animal suffering is ignored in the name of “science.” Yet, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, 92% of drugs tested on animals FAIL to meet the standards for human use. And there are often more reliable, humane, and cost-effective alternatives available. But cruel experiments continue…
These defenseless animals only have compassionate people like you to protect them, Friend. And with your support, we can continue our tireless battle to expose the cruel realities of animal testing that labs seek to hide as demonstrated in our successful lawsuit against the State University of New York’s College of Optometry, where for years cats and kittens were subjected to painful, invasive brain and vision testing.
And we’ll continue fighting to enact pro-animal legislation aimed at combating cruel testing like our recent success in New Jersey where we helped pass the Humane Cosmetics Act, which prohibits the sale of cosmetics that were developed or manufactured using animal tests on or after March 1, 2022. The Animal Legal Defense Fund also assisted in the recent passage of New York’s Cruelty Free Cosmetics Act, similar to New Jersey’s cosmetics ban, in the state legislature. The bill is currently awaiting Governor Kathy Hochul’s signature to become law.
That’s the impact we have when we stand together. Let’s keep the momentum going — keep fighting for animals with a powerful, lifesaving donation worth DOUBLE to the Animal Legal Defense Fund today. Only with the continued commitment of every one of us, will we win the case against animal cruelty. |
For the animals,
