Worship Resources for the Crisis in the Holy Land
A set of worship resources is now available on ELCA.org. Several prayers are provided that could be used during the prayers of intercession or at other times, in public worship or for devotional use at home or in other settings. Additions may be made to these resources in the coming days and weeks.
Oye Mi Voz: Un Libro de Oraciones para la Prisión
Newly available this month is the Spanish edition of Hear My Voice: A Prison Prayer Book. Oye Mi Voz is a collaborative effort sponsored by the ELCA and Augsburg Fortress. This grace-filled prayer book invites people who are incarcerated to spend time in prayer, trusting in God’s never-failing love for them and the whole world.
Explore Resources for Advent, Christmas, and Time after Epiphany. Whether you are new to All Creation Sings or using it already, this blog post points to ways it can support your worship in the beginning of a new church year.
New to the ACS Family is the All Creation Sings Braille Edition: Assembly Song. This edition presents the words of All Creation Sings #901–1100 (Assembly Song) on braille-embossed pages. Congregation leaders are invited to provide a copy for each braille-reading worshiper’s use.
Videos From World Council of Churches Now Available
Last year's assembly of the World Council of Churches included hours of video content from the assembly’s live-streamed prayer services. Each song (or song set if they were sung as a unit) has now been edited into an individual video for educational and accessibility purposes. There are 71 videos to view!
