The news cycle ...

is big this week. It rises and falls sort of like surf, so I guess you could say there’s a big set this week.

News about the SCOTUS draft leak on Roe v. Wade broke across Maine, bringing with it pledges made during judicial confirmation hearings with Maine’s senators, more movement on Maine’s tribal betting legislation and a local profile of three different cultures coming together to tell their stories in Maine. Plus a tree that pours water only during certain times of the year in Montenegro.

Our next Climate Driven county, Piscataquis, is coming May 16 — stay tuned for that.

Also, if you haven’t given yet to our Spring Membership Campaign you still can over at mainepublic.org.

Hang ten!
